Our People Goran Hagegard, Principal, consults with investment managers and defined contribution plan providers in the United States and other markets on a range of marketing, sales, client service, and product issues. Prior to joining the Firm, Goran worked with Booz Allen Hamilton in New York and London and was the founder and CEO of Adacra, a management and technology consulting firm focused on financial services. Goran holds a MSc in industrial engineering and management from Linkoping University of Technology and an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was also elected a George F Baker Scholar. ghagegard@greenwich.com Alexander Bues, Product Manager, works extensively with clients and consultants on Competitive Challenges' engagements and on deliverable and survey improvements. In addition, he supports the consultants on strategic initiatives with investment management clients. Prior to joining the Competitive Challenges team, Alex was a Client Associate with the Investment Management team at Greenwich. Alex received his BA in Economics from Denison University in Granville, OH. abues@greenwich.com Consultants Dev Clifford, Managing Director, consults with institutional investment managers and fixed-income dealers in the United States and Japan and serves as the leader of Greenwich Associates' investment management practice. Before joining the firm in 1988, Dev spent six years as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he focused on serving financial institutions. Dev earned his BA at Northwestern, his MS and MPhil in chemistry at Yale, and his MBA at Kellogg. dclifford@greenwich.com Christopher McNickle, CFA, Managing Director, consults with the Firm's investment management clients in the United States and Europe. Chris rejoined Greenwich Associates in 2002 after having worked at the Firm from 1989 to 1994. In the interim, he was a vice president at JPMorgan and a senior vice president at Prudential Retirement Services. Chris received his BA magna cum laude in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D in U.S. history from the University of Chicago. cmcnickle@greenwich.com Rodger F. Smith, Managing Director, consults with investment managers in North America and Europe. Rodger launched our investment management practice in the United Kingdom and Canada and has extensive experience working with both large and small firms on a broad range of issues. Before joining the firm in 1976, Rodger was vice president of investments for Allis-Chalmers, where he managed the pension funds.
