Vaskar leads the custom research team at Javelin Strategy & Research. He has over 13 years of supply side custom research experience and has managed a wide range of projects ranging including brand tracking, pricing research, sponsorship tracking, advertising impact, mystery shopping, concept testing.
His research experience spans consumer goods, financial services, information technology and telecommunications and he has managed multi-country projects having managed studies in over 40 countries, with a solid understanding of cultural and country specific considerations. Prior to Javelin, Vaskar was a Director at Nielsen in the U.S. with their Custom Research group and has worked in leading research agencies in India and Bangladesh.
He has an MBA in Marketing from IISWBM, Calcutta University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University in India.
