December 9, 2020 | Stamford, CT USA — CRISIL Coalition Greenwich, a leading business intelligence provider to the financial services industry, is pleased to announce the hiring of Subodh Karnik as a Director on its Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) team.
The new hire bolsters CRISIL’s benchmarking insights practice, which already harnesses the prowess of two analytics power-brands – Coalition and Greenwich – to deliver benefits to clients.
“We are excited to welcome Subodh, whose deep experience across Global Markets products will help our clients leverage our suite of analytics and insights to improve their performance, and whose broad network across the industry will help grow our CIB business,” says Stephane Besson, CEO, CRISIL Coalition Greenwich.
Subodh joins the team with more than 22 years of industry experience in trading, structuring and sales leadership roles. He began his career at J.P. Morgan, where he eventually became Head of FX Institutional Sales for North America, before moving to NAB as Head of FICC sales for the U.S. and later to BNPP as Head of FX, EM and Commodity Derivatives Sales for the Americas. Prior to his new role, Subodh worked with Greenwich Associates as a consultant.
Subodh will be based in New York and will drive business development for the new Coalition Greenwich Client Intelligence offering, a strategic and tactical tool to support client strategy. This unique service combines the power of quantitative and qualitative analytics, insights and actions across the investor and corporate franchise, to identify client opportunities and risks.
“This is an exciting time to join the team. They have created an unprecedented opportunity for banks to improve strategy and performance using new integrated analytics on their own operations and customer bases,” says Subodh Karnik. “I look forward to the opportunity to helping Coalition Greenwich and their clients grow their businesses.”
