Methodology

Between July and October 2021, Coalition Greenwich conducted 258 interviews with the largest corporate pension funds, public pension funds, financial institutions, endowments, and foundations in Japan. Total fund assets were ¥894 trillion. Study participants were asked to provide quantitative and qualitative evaluations of their asset management providers, including qualitative assessments of those firms soliciting their business and detailed information on important market trends.
