Methodology

This report provides detailed information on cash compensation trends for portfolio managers, analysts, head traders, traders and other functions at buyside institutions, based on interviews from June through September 2018, for 2017 and 2018 annual compensation. This information is based on interviews with 98 buyside traders and 184 portfolio managers.
