September 9, 2026 — HSBC and BNP Paribas dominate the list of 2026 Coalition Greenwich Best Bank Awards in Asia Corporate Trade Finance.

Every year, Crisil Coalition Greenwich asks large corporates across Asia to name their banks and rate the quality of products and service these banks provide across a range of categories. In 2026, the firm spoke with treasury executives from 805 large Asian countries.

The results of that research reveal that HSBC is by far the most widely used bank by market penetration in Asia for corporate trade finance, a performance that earned HSBC the title of #1 Share Leader.

The results also reveal that HSBC and BNP Paribas receive quality ratings from Corporate Trade Finance clients in Asia that top those awarded to other competitors by a statistically significant margin. That performance earned HSBC and BNP Paribas the title of 2026 Coalition Greenwich Best Banks in Asia Corporate Trade Finance.

“As global trade recalibrates, the quality and breadth of network these banks’ Asian franchises bring can be seen in their performance across the broad and diverse region,” says Ruchirangad Agarwal, Director and Head of Corporate Banking (Asia & MENA).
